Easy Installation

TUNet can be installed rapidly—in challenging mountainous terrain or high density urban centers. Long-range coverage means less infrastructure, so there are no substations to build out and less equipment to install and to maintain.

The wireless network blankets a region, enabling communication with TUNet devices located within the broadcast radius. When a LAN or WAN device is installed, TUNet automatically detects its presence and self-configures the system without additional programming.

Complete Coverage

Achieve fast, territory-wide coverage with minimal infrastructure. A single radio tower serves a broad geographic area, even over challenging rural countryside.

Extend Range

Tens of thousands of meters can be deployed on a single radio channel. Add more channels to increase capacity. There is no practical limit on the number of devices on the TUNet network.

Protect Assets

TUNet devices retrofit onto existing meters so a utility does not have to abandon its existing meters in order to add smart metering functionality.
