QA Test Project Manager
We are seeking a senior QA Test Project Manager to join our Quality Assurance team. The QA Test team is responsible for ensuring first-time customer quality for the delivery of best in class smart grid systems. The successful candidate will work on a team responsible for the delivery of new products and features and for the maintenance of line releases in a multi-stream set of parallel projects that demand critical project management.
You will develop and manage the QA test projects, working with product development and product marketing to ensure that the critical product testing requirements are defined and validated. You will define the quality key metrics and monitor and report on those metrics to ensure that Quality is first while maintaining a commitment to schedule. You will own the development of the QA Test Strategy/Plan and be responsible for the monitoring, reporting and the successful execution of the project plan.
This position is based in Burnaby, BC and will be a QA Functional position. As a successful candidate you possess:- A strong project management background with demonstrated experience managing software development and testing projects and teams in an Agile environment
- Proven software testing or development experience, preferably as a senior or lead engineer
- Demonstrated success working in a team environment on complex systems, with the ability to interact with all levels within the Tantalus organization
- Business acumen and people management skills applicable to working with large partners and external development organizations
