The Network Server is the repository for all data collected from TUNet meter endpoints and infrastructure equipment. It coordinates traffic between NC-2200 Network Controllers (base stations), warehouses the data, and interfaces with a utility's back-office information systems, including billing, CIS, CRM, OMS and MDM systems. It is also a Web server that provides the TUNet user interface. The Network Server is connected to each Network Controller via TCP/IP. |
