Product Manager
Location: Burnaby, British Columbia; will require some travel.

The Product Manager is responsible for working with the Sr. Product Managers on all aspects of product planning and execution, from development and prioritization input through upgrade efforts, to end-of-life. Key elements of this role include capturing customer, product, and system requirements, effectively prioritizing these developments within the Company's defined customer solutions' vision, building consensus on that product vision, and then working closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and operations to ensure revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met. A strong planning approach with clear tactics and ownership and responsibilities from other stakeholders within Tantalus will be required.

Prioritizing the development and commercial efforts of the product portfolio to support the company's overall strategy and goals (within the capital and other resource constraints of the company) is critical to our success. Analytical support based on market research and on-going customer/market visits will guide the organization's evolution.

• Support Product Management function by working with Sales and Engineering to define the product/solution strategy requirements.
• Assist in clearly prioritizing development requirements & quantify benefits/trade-offs
• Develop/Disseminate supporting documentation with prioritized features and justification
• Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product within the TUNet system
• Meet with customers to understand product requirements and use cases
• Work with the Commercial organization to monetize product development efforts and maximize profit
• In conjunction with Product Development and Quality departments, run beta and pilot programs
• Become a competitive expert and arm the organization to sell our position/differentiation effectively
• Develop new product commercial documentation and collateral in conjunction with Marketing Communications
• Assist with product pricing analysis and implementation of pricing functions
