Electronics Technologist

We are currently seeking a talented Entry Level Electronics Technologist to join our growing team. The position will require the candidate to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair down to the component level a variety of Tantalus Systems equipment for the purpose of ensuring perfect function and providing the customer with reliable and quality repair. Additionally, the candidate will be required to assist with tasks involving the processing of returned materials.

This position is based in Burnaby, B.C. Canada

 

Education & Professional Credentials Desired:
1.
Graduate of an Electronics Technology program (2Yr Electronics Technologist/Technician Program) or equivalent.
Experience Required:
1.
Knowledge of RF circuits is required. 
2.
Must be able to read electronic schematics and interpret Bill of Materials.
3.
Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving of Analog and Digital circuits is an asset. 
4.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
Experience Desired:
1.
Experience with engineering and manufacturing systems (e.g. BOM management, schematic capture).
2.
Experience with electronic assembly manufacturing.
3.
Experience with both electrical and mechanical design elements with respect to manufacturing test.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
3.
Have a high personal commitment to product quality.
4.
Must be Self Starter, flexible, with the ability to multi-task.
