ERIC MURRAY, P.ENG. :: PRESIDENT & CEO
Eric brings 25 years experience in positions responsible for global sales, marketing and business growth. At Tantalus, his efforts have resulted in year over year growth, including doubling the size of Tantalus in the past 18 months to become the fastest growing Canadian Smart Grid company. He has established Tantalus as a top tier provider of Smart Grid applications and has done this with a focus on corporate responsibility. During his time at Tantalus, Eric has helped secure technology and business relationships with Badger, GE, Energate, Alpha, and most recently, a strategic partnership with Itron. Prior to joining Tantalus, Eric held senior executive positions with ABB and GE where he developed strategic initiatives in industry segments including utilities, primary manufacturing, and communications. Eric is a professional engineer and holds a B-Eng from the Royal Military College and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

KEITH MARTIN, P.ENG. :: CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
A 29-year veteran of the BC’s  high technology community Keith holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Engineer in B.C. Throughout his professional career, Keith has directed the development and delivery of a wide range of technology based products. Keith’s work has most often been focused on providing communications and control solutions to serve the mission critical needs of the industrial process control and energy utility marketplaces. Keith holds multiple patents for communications and control products in Canada and the USA. In addition Keith, has served on a variety of professional standards and advisory committees in both the US and Canada. Keith founded Tantalus in 1989.

PHILIPPE FAVREAU :: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Philippe is a veteran in the technology field with more than 25 years experience, including ten years at Creo Inc., an imaging and printing company that was acquired by Kodak Graphics Communication in 2005, and ten years in the energy industry with Schneider Electric and Carmanah Technologies as Chief Operating Officer where he successfully grew core business revenue while reducing OPEX, eliminating debt, and increasing cash from year to year. At Tantalus, Philippe is responsible for overseeing Tantalus’ day to day operations and for ensuring that growth falls in line with strategic vision.

TAMMY ZUCCO , MBA :: CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Tammy leads the product management team and is responsible for building the Tantalus brand and delivering strategic marketing programs. She has served in the utility sector for 18 years. Tammy comes to Tantalus from ABB, where she led the North American strategic marketing activities of the Power Division. She played an integral role in developing and implementing the company’s Smart Grid business strategy and establishing industry alliances. Tammy also helped create the National Electrical Manufacturers’ Association’s Smart Grid Advisory Council, and served as ABB's liaison with the U.S. Dept. of Energy and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

MIKE JULIAN, MBA :: VICE PRESIDENT, SALES
Mike leads Tantalus’ sales organization and is responsible for growing Tantalus’ top line.  A former United States Air Force officer, Mike brings over 15 years of leadership, sales and sales management experience within the Energy and Communications industries with companies such as GE, Ericsson, Tekelec and Catapult Communications.  Most recently, Mike led international sales organizations in the communications industry where he drove significant growth in the United States, Canada and Asia.  A graduate of General Electric’s Technical Sales Program, Mike earned his MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University. 

GERRY WEST :: VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Gerry brings a strong set of project management skills to Tantalus and experience building and managing multi-disciplined engineering teams. During his 28-year career, has held senior management positions within Motorola and Webtech Wireless. Notable products which Gerry has managed through to commercial introduction include Motorola’s first portable wireless data modem and Wideray’s innovative digital media access point. Gerry is responsible for leading Tantalus’ fast growing product development team, managing the evolution of its product portfolio, and ensuring that Tantalus delivers best-in-class Smart Grid technologies.

SEBASTIAN THOMAS, CPA, CGA :: VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE
Sebastian has substantial Finance and Operations experience in a variety of industries through his 30 years of work with a range of companies, from start-ups to multi-billion dollar organizations. He brings global experience in building operations and managing corporate financial structure from incubation to success. Sebastian joined Tantalus in 2008 as Controller and has since received expanded responsibilities and fiscal oversight through his role as VP of Finance. In addition to his professional designations, Sebastian holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
